Goals:

Compathos supports a diverse range of projects and initiatives which include:

• Grassroots media that raises awareness about global issues.

• Responsible travel initiatives that strengthen and empower communities in need.

• Hands-on development projects that have the ability to disseminate knowledge and cross-cultural understanding:

Compathos supports diverse groups and organizations that offer innovative service projects, provide volunteer opportunities for travelers, and leverage communicative technology in service of these projects. Support comes through website exposure, digital storytelling or grass roots media projects, and by providing funding opportunities through community interaction on the website.

Compathos special projects initiatives provide funding or resources to individuals, projects, and organizations that are creating positive impact in developing communities or working toward MDG-Millennia Development Goals.

Compathos provides Travel Aid Scholarships to students and professionals that have identified unique opportunities where their time, talents and skills have the ability to make a profound impact in developing communities or the organizations (including NGO's, CBO's, and FBO's) that serve those communities.

Compathos Media collaborative channels funds for international grass roots media projects. All creative content will have clear inspirational and educational objectives, and can be used by participating organizations to raise awareness and support. Educational videos will capture the transformational impact of cross-cultural exchange as well as the reflective lessons learned, during and after the funded projects are implemented.
