Colleen Flanigan Socio-ecological Artist

Colleen Flanigan is a socio-ecological artist. Through visual, performing, and biological arts, she investigates contemporary issues of species endangerment and ecosystem regeneration, specifically coral reefs. Her work connects science, art and imagination and encompasses Living Sea Sculptures, conversation-catalyzing alter egos, such as the mermaid Amphitrite and Miss Snail Pail, participatory multimedia exhibitions, and more. Colleen is a TED Fellow, and her underwater sculptures help to regenerate dying coral reefs. (Seen here as the mermaid Amphitrite)

Pam Longobardi

Pam Longobardi, is founder of the Drifters Project and The Conscious Ocean. Pam was trained as a painter and print-maker and has worked in a variety of mediums including photography and installation. She has had over 40 solo exhibitions and 65 group exhibitions in galleries and museums in the US, China, Italy, Spain, Finland, Poland, Japan and elsewhere. Her artworks are in numerous collections including commissions for Benziger Winery, the Hyatt Corporation, the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport, Fulton County Medical Examiner's Facility and First Tennessee Bank, Memphis.
