Ryan Grundtisch Film And Video Producer

Ryan is passionate about producing socially conscious media and about giving voice to those traditionally misrepresented and underrepresented by the media. He believes that authenticity, spirituality and personal development are leading to the next stage in evolution. Ryan is Founder at Hari Ryan Media with a MFA at DePaul University in 2016.

Chelsea Yang Freelance Editor / Sound Design / Colorist

Chelsea is working on her Master's degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at DePaul University 2015 - 2018. She also attended Xian University of Posts and Telecommunications with a Bachelor's degree, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Elisa De Petris Journalism Intern

Elisa De Petris was born in Rome, Italy, raised in the Bay Area and currently resides in the NOPA district of San Francisco. She obtained her BA in International Relations at San Francisco State University in 2012. She is currently studying photography at the City College of San Francisco. Her passions include traveling, photography, feminism, writing, and food.

Catherine Morpeth Journalism, PR

Catherine is a recent graduate from the University of East Anglia in the UK, located in a small city called Norwich on the East coast of England. She studied American and English Literature for four years, and spent one of those years living in San Francisco, CA for a study abroad program. In her attempts to move back to San Francisco, she found Compathos as well as two other internships to take on for the next six months. She recently joined the Compathos team as a writer and interviewer and is excited to get involved in many more projects.

Elvin Herrera Editor / Cinematographer

Elvin received his B.A. in Cinema & Television Arts and a B.A. in Chicana Chicano Studies.from CSU Northridge in 2015. He receives his MFA in Film and Television in 2017. Elvin has worked as a Director / Editor - Odyssey of a Dreamer (2014), Assistant Camera - CBS Producer Jim Velarde, PR and Social Media for CSUN Civil Discourse & Social Change Initiative and he received a Scott M. Weiss Memorial Scholarship (2014). Becoming a television producer/editor is his ultimate career goal, as well as engaging in social justice movements and creating conscious dialog through documentaries and grassroots organizations.

Beth Winchester Production Assistant

Beth has worked with projects such as The Chamber Boys, and CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange. Beth was awarded the "Innovation in Raising Awareness" award at CIEE - "recognizing ones dedication and willingness to go above and beyond when it comes to spreading the good word about CIEE and Study Abroad." Beth received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Rochester in 2015 and she also attended Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Beth is interested in working in film or television writing, directing, editing and sound in all stages of production.

Chloe Lew Marketing Communications Intern

Chloe is a rising third-year English major at the University of California, Los Angeles, working toward a second major in Communication Studies. A champion of creativity and exploration, Chloe is currently interested in social media marketing as well as writing and editing. She has interned with other multi-media and community engagement non-profits such as Not In Our Town, and is currently involved as a Social Media and Marketing Intern with the UCLA Volunteer Center. Ultimately, she hopes to fuse her passions for writing and communications in a place that inspires to make positive changes.

Stephanie Eatherly Social Media, Graphic Design

Stephanie is a world traveler, artist, and social activist. Her background is in graphic design, photography, and music but her passion to see the world has led to an awareness of the injustices within. Since, her art and photography have been displayed in exhibits across the South and in Eastern Europe. She has also volunteered her design for non-profits and groups around the world. As she hones in to seek her greatest strengths, she continues to bring together like-minds and ushers others talents (along with hers) to raise awareness about issues of injustice, extreme poverty, the environment, and other human rights issues. Countries traveled: Germany, Italy, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, UK, Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Canada, and most of the states.

Fabio Giannini Outreach Director

Fabio Giannini, is a completed grad student from Italy majoring in New Media and Marketing Communications at the University of Bologna Alma Graduate School. His background covers a wide range of academic studies in engineering, economics and marketing. On the creative side, Fabio is an experienced videographer and musician with a deep understanding of engagement marketing and flare for digital communications. "I have always loved to create a community around my activities, based on creativity and deep rooted values."

Kim Phy Journalism Intern

Kim Phy enjoys activities ranging from composing music on guitar, recreational sports with friends and video games, such as League of Legends. Originally from the East Coast, she has traveled all throughout New England, and would love to visit Thailand or Japan. Kim studied at the University of California Berkeley as a Social Welfare Major and South, Southeast Asian Minor. During her studies, she volunteered as a mentor for youth in a program, known as OASES, and also helped the elderly do yoga practices.

Armand Moyon

Armand Moyon,is a world traveler and storyteller with a passion for film. He is completing his Masters in Management, with a specialization in Social Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing. Other areas of specialization include include sustainable economy and corporate social responsibility. Armand traveled from Paris, France to join the Films for the Planet marketing and partnership development team after eight months of working with the team at "A Quest for Meaning" documentary..

Jame Clark Photojournalism

James Clark is a combat veteran and former Marine Corps combat correspondent and graduate UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Art in Modern Literature. His multimedia and print stories have appeared in a number of publications including CNN, New York Times, Huffington Post, Oakland Tribune, Santa Cruz Sentinel, to name a few. James believes that "Journalism is far more than a career - at its core, regardless of the medium used, storytelling allows the journalist to bring people closer to remind us that we are a part of a larger whole." He has interned at NPR and is Staff Writer and Editor at Task & Purpose.
