Global Volunteers

Join short-term volunteers in our non-profit network providing long-term, ethical service on a volunteer vacation abroad or a USA volunteer program. Live and work with local people on life-affirming service programs for one to six weeks. Extended-term service options up to 24 weeks. We support some 100 service partnerships year-around through short-term volunteer teams, direct project funding, classroom support, child sponsorships and student scholarships. Join our programs serving local people as a family, group or individual. No specialized skills are needed to contribute genuine, long-term development assistance.

Global Volunteer Network

The Global Volunteer Network (GVN) offers volunteer opportunities abroad in 25 community projects throughout the world, as well as 3 treks. Their vision is to connect people with communities in need, with a particular focus on vulnerable women and children. They do this by supporting the work of local community organizations in countries through the placement of international volunteers.

UVolunteer provides students with extensive volunteer experiences in Costa Rica, Ghana, and Thailand. We purposely limit our operations to these three nations in order to provide the best experience possible for our students. However, students are able to participate in a variety of activities including animal rescue, medical assistance, and volunteer teaching.

The Tropical Adventures Foundation is a non-profit organization providing volunteer tour packages for individuals, families and groups interested in exploring the culture, language and natural beauty of Costa Rica.

Global Vision International

Global Vision International (GVI) runs responsible volunteering programs in over 40 countries around the world. They offer volunteers the chance for a hands-on experience by personally contributing to important conservation initiatives and community projects. Volunteer programs run from one week to 2 years.

Cross Cultural Solutions

Cross-Cultural Solutions was founded in 1995 and is a recognized leader in the field of international volunteering. Each year, over 4,000 people volunteer abroad with CCS in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe in the areas of caregiving, teaching, healthcare, and community development.

Globe Aware

Globe Aware, a nonprofit organization, currently offers volunteer vacations in Peru, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cuba, Nepal, Brazil, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Jamaica, Romania, Ghana, Mexico, and China . These short-term (one week) adventures in service focus on cultural-awareness and sustainability, and are often compared to a "mini peace corps".
